Spektrumâ„¢ S155 G2 1x55W AC Smart Charger
The Spektrum™ S155 charger makes advanced, user-friendly Smart charging technology affordable for any RC hobbyist. It's an excellent choice for cost-conscious new drivers who want the safe and simple operation that only a Smart charger can provide. Compatible with 4S LiPo, LiFe, Li-Ion, or LiHV batteries as well as 1-12S NiMH and NiCd packs, the 55-watt S155 charger can be used with all popular RC battery types (though only Smart batteries take full advantage of the charger's innovative features). It includes ports for IC3® and IC5® connectors, so no separate adapters are needed to charge most Smart batteries. Generation 2 Smart technology enables the S155 to charge and balance Smart G2 batteries using one simple connection. No separate balance lead is needed. When connected to a Smart battery, its Auto Charge feature instantly recognizes the correct charging parameters and automatically begins safe, proper charging.
In order to provide the most hassle-free charging experience, the Spektrumâ„¢ S155 Smart AC Charger includes a color LCD screen with improved menus, icons, and navigation tools. Its intuitive interface allows users to monitor charging progress and easily make setting changes. An on-screen clock counts the minutes in real time until your Smart battery is fully charged and ready to use. When it's time to update the charger firmware, that's easy, too. A USB input port is conveniently located on the front of the case. No special cables are required. Other handy features of the Spektrumâ„¢ S155 Smart AC Charger include a sleep mode and a detachable AC power cord. Drivers enjoy even more Smart advantages when using Spektrum™ Smart G2 50C LiPo batteries to power their vehicles. "Generation 2" features make these LiPo packs — featuring a 50C continuous discharge rating for high performance and longevity — even simpler and safer to use with a Smart charger.
For example, Spektrum™ Smart G2 technology makes it much easier to balance charge your LiPo batteries. Balancing information travels through the unique data wire of each Smart G2 battery's innovative IC5® connector. As a result, only a single connection is needed — no separate balance lead is required.
Smart G2 batteries come from the factory programmed to discharge automatically to a safe storage voltage of 3.90V after 72 hours of inactivity. The benefits include longer battery life, better performance over the pack's life, and the peace of mind from knowing your Smart battery is maintenance-free. You can change the battery's Auto Storage settings based on your preferences. G2 batteries also offer a storage discharge rate that's three times faster than the previous G1 Smart batteries.
As with other Smart batteries, you'll never have to set your charging preferences for a Spektrumâ„¢ Smart G2 battery until you want to. When a Smart G2 LiPo battery is connected to a Spektrumâ„¢ Smart charger, its unique charging parameters and health information upload to the charger from the battery's integrated memory microchip. Through the charger you can view and set preferences such as charge rates, so all that's required to charge the pack is connecting it to your Smart charger. Smart technology takes care of the rest. Shipping Policy
Dirt Cheap RC typically ships orders within 24–48 hours of processing, excluding weekends and holidays. Processing may take longer during busy periods or when an item requires additional handling.
Shipping Rates and Delivery
Available shipping methods and charges appear at checkout. Carrier transit estimates begin after your order ships and do not include processing time. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Order Tracking
Tracking information will be emailed when your order ships. Some orders may arrive in separate packages.
Shipping Restrictions
Shipping availability depends on the product and destination. Batteries, fuel, oversized items, and other restricted products may require specific shipping methods or may be unavailable for certain destinations.
International Orders
Where international shipping is available, shipping options and charges appear at checkout. Customers are responsible for applicable import duties, taxes, and customs fees unless checkout states otherwise. Customs processing may delay delivery.
Address Changes
Check your shipping address before completing your order. If you notice an error, contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee changes after an order begins processing or ships.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Orders
Inspect your order when it arrives. Report shipping damage within 48 hours and incorrect items within five business days. Include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. Keep the packaging while we review the issue.
If tracking shows a delivery problem or your package has not arrived, contact us so we can help investigate with the carrier.

Returns
Returns
Return and Refund Policy
You may return new, unused merchandise within 10 days of purchase, subject to the conditions below. Contact Dirt Cheap RC for a return authorization (RMA) before sending anything back.
Return Requirements
Returned items must include all original contents and packaging. Used items and returns without an approved RMA will not be accepted.
The following items are ineligible for return:
- Used merchandise
- Kits with a broken protective seal
- Special orders
- Fuel
- Standalone or installed electronics
Refunds
Store-credit refunds do not incur restocking fees. Refunds to the original payment method may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Refunds cover the product price only. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable. If you do not specify your preferred refund method, we will issue store credit.
How to Request a Return
- Email dronezonecentral@gmail.com with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Wait for approval, your RMA number, and return instructions.
- Include your order number or original packing slip and the RMA number inside the package.
- Pack the item and all original contents inside a separate shipping box. Do not attach shipping labels directly to the product packaging.
- Write the RMA number on the outside of the shipping box and send it to the address provided in your approval.
Allow reasonable shipping time plus 3–5 business days for return processing. We will email you when your return has been processed.
Defective Products and Manufacturer Warranties
Manufacturer warranties are handled according to each manufacturer’s terms. Contact the manufacturer directly for defective products, including electronics. Keep your original purchase receipt.
