When a Smart Pro-Series LiPoHV battery is connected to a Spektrum Smart charger, its unique charging parameters and health information are uploaded to the charger from its integrated memory microchip. You can view and set preferences through the charger, such as charge rates, so all that’s required to charge the pack is connecting it to your Smart charger. Smart technology takes care of the rest.

Smart Battery Technology
When connected to a Spektrum™ Smart charger, a Pro-Series Smart battery’s unique parameters, health,
and balancing information upload automatically from its memory microchip through the IC3® or IC5®
connector’s data wire. To charge and balance the pack, you simply connect it to your Smart charger.

Smart Auto Storage Discharge
Spektrum™ Smart Pro-Series batteries practically take care of themselves. Pro-Series batteries come
from the factory programmed to automatically discharge to a safe storage voltage of 3.90V after 72
hours of inactivity. The results are longer battery life, better performance over the life of the
pack, and peace of mind that your Smart battery comes maintenance-free. The user can change the
battery's Auto Storage settings based on preferences.

Data Rich
An integrated microchip allows each Smart battery to save vital information such as battery brand,
chemistry, cell count, capacity, number of charging cycles, number of discharges, C rating, battery
temperature, and internal resistance. Additionally, each battery will save a log of unhealthy events
such as over-charge, over-discharge, and over-temperature. This allows you to make the most informed
decision about each battery when getting your gear ready for a flight.

Simple and Quick
Preset charge, discharge, and storage parameters are automatically relayed from your Spektrum™ Smart
Pro-Series battery to your Smart charger, making charging as simple as plugging in the pack. The
charge rate of individual batteries can also be user-customized, allowing you to take full advantage
of packs with faster charge ratings. The battery’s integrated microchip remembers the last charging
rate you set, so these settings will automatically take effect the next time you plug it in.

Shipping Policy
Dirt Cheap RC typically ships orders within 24–48 hours of processing, excluding weekends and holidays. Processing may take longer during busy periods or when an item requires additional handling.
Shipping Rates and Delivery
Available shipping methods and charges appear at checkout. Carrier transit estimates begin after your order ships and do not include processing time. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Order Tracking
Tracking information will be emailed when your order ships. Some orders may arrive in separate packages.
Shipping Restrictions
Shipping availability depends on the product and destination. Batteries, fuel, oversized items, and other restricted products may require specific shipping methods or may be unavailable for certain destinations.
International Orders
Where international shipping is available, shipping options and charges appear at checkout. Customers are responsible for applicable import duties, taxes, and customs fees unless checkout states otherwise. Customs processing may delay delivery.
Address Changes
Check your shipping address before completing your order. If you notice an error, contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee changes after an order begins processing or ships.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Orders
Inspect your order when it arrives. Report shipping damage within 48 hours and incorrect items within five business days. Include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. Keep the packaging while we review the issue.
If tracking shows a delivery problem or your package has not arrived, contact us so we can help investigate with the carrier.

Returns
Returns
Return and Refund Policy
You may return new, unused merchandise within 10 days of purchase, subject to the conditions below. Contact Dirt Cheap RC for a return authorization (RMA) before sending anything back.
Return Requirements
Returned items must include all original contents and packaging. Used items and returns without an approved RMA will not be accepted.
The following items are ineligible for return:
- Used merchandise
- Kits with a broken protective seal
- Special orders
- Fuel
- Standalone or installed electronics
Refunds
Store-credit refunds do not incur restocking fees. Refunds to the original payment method may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Refunds cover the product price only. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable. If you do not specify your preferred refund method, we will issue store credit.
How to Request a Return
- Email dronezonecentral@gmail.com with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Wait for approval, your RMA number, and return instructions.
- Include your order number or original packing slip and the RMA number inside the package.
- Pack the item and all original contents inside a separate shipping box. Do not attach shipping labels directly to the product packaging.
- Write the RMA number on the outside of the shipping box and send it to the address provided in your approval.
Allow reasonable shipping time plus 3–5 business days for return processing. We will email you when your return has been processed.
Defective Products and Manufacturer Warranties
Manufacturer warranties are handled according to each manufacturer’s terms. Contact the manufacturer directly for defective products, including electronics. Keep your original purchase receipt.
